Emilomo’s practice centers around understanding systems. Using the body in all its forms -- a spirit, an inheritance, a chunk of flesh, a thing of beauty, a product and consumer within our system -- she observes and honors what it means to develop true self-sight. Based in Los Angeles, California she is deeply informed by the concepts of nonlinearity/imperfection and uses poetry, archival observations, rudimentary web design, and narrative business modeling to explore personal power, victimhood, inheritance, displacement, and world-building.
She is the founder of Glory Worldwide, a beauty project.
